During her university days in the US, Penny started going to the gym to stay active. After graduating, she returned home and began a career in the corporate world. In 2000, Penny joined a dragon boat team, and for the next 13 years, she participated in local and international races.
In 2012, Penny became professionally certified in fitness, contemplating a future career in the field. Her passion for fitness grew even more after attending the Asia Fitness Conference in Bangkok, Thailand, in 2015. This experience inspired her to pursue fitness as a career.
Penny expanded her expertise by certifying to instruct the Les Mills GRIT, which is a high intensity interval training (HIIT) programme. She now coaches the weekly MobFlex session at Warrior, emphasising the importance of a solid foundation for improving performance and preventing injuries.
As both a Personal Coach and a Group Fitness Coach, Penny is dedicated to helping people become the best version of themselves.
Her favourite workouts include weight training, HIIT, yoga, Pilates, and activities involving agility and coordination movements.
